Choke 03:25
I watched you forget my name so you can make room for another to come your way I hope they come your way someday soon Every day you saw my face staring back through the window pane Unspoken conversations break the silence in a crowded room I'm not sad, just tired of arguing back and forth with people that aren't here anymore I hope you choke on every promise you shoved down my throat I hope you choke on every promise you shoved down my throat I watched you forget my name so you can make room for another to come your way I hope they come your way someday soon What was the point in getting my hopes up just to slam the door on your way out

Blind 02:29
There's an arch in my back ('cause my eyes are glued to the ground) Evading loneliness, avoiding interaction with my peers in my past (will alter the present) and my heads spinning fast, I wish this happened less frequently Falling to my knees has never come so easily This city has never looked so unfamiliar been here a thousand times but my visions still not clearer I wish I could open my eyes I've grown so blind
3.
White Noise 03:46
I was lost longing for a way out of your clause I never left your side even after every single lie that you fed me Let me go I'll break free from your hold And all that remains is the sound of the rain beating down on your front porch I hope you think of me when the lights start to flicker with the white noise of trains And as the power goes out a tear rolls down your face I never left your side even after every single lie that you fed me Let me go I'll break free from your hold
4.
Hindsight 03:51
You tried to bury me beneath your feet Stuck my neck out for you Bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut It was all for you It was all for you But where did you go You packed up your things with no trace of you left to be seen Your touch feels so foreign and I keep forgetting that you were even here You could've fooled me but who am I kidding You lied through the skin of your teeth Stuck my neck out for you Bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut It was all for you It was all for you I miss the way all of your things were just a bit out of place and I miss the way your head wasn't on straight Stuck my neck out for you Bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut It was all for you It was all for you Stuck my neck out for you Stuck my neck out for you But where did you go

Shed 02:40
I picked myself up from the dirt, for what My knuckles are torn, and my hands are calloused Everything seems to hurt. Why are you running away from the house that you built with me I feel the cold rush through my hollow bones every time I stare at your side of the bed And I keep finding pieces of you left behind like the strands of hair that you shed And all that I am left with is a framework constructed upon words I wish that I had coughed up And I was always told to stand for what I believed in but how could I speak when you sewed my mouth shut I thought I was your home I feel the cold rush through my hollow bones every time I stare at your side of the bed And I keep finding pieces of you left behind like the strands of hair you shed

about

Rosehaven is a band compiled of members from totally different musical backgrounds, from metal and hardcore, to shoe gaze and post rock. Every song combines the energy of pop punk, the aggression of post hardcore, and the technicality of alternative rock and shoegaze, in an attempt to bring something to the table that you have never heard before. This band focuses on evaluating the choices you've made in the past, and leaving behind the people that held you back from success. Just because you made the right choice, doesn't mean you'll be happy with yourself in the end. This is, "The First Step to Getting Better".
